CU Heritage Center History Buffs
Who are the History Buffs and Why You Should be One:
The History Buffs, a financial support group founded in
1999, supports the goals of the CU Heritage Center. History Buffs
participate in Heritage
Center activities celebrating the history of the University of Colorado.
A fully tax deductible annual donation of $50 ($75/ family) enables
members to vote on a museum acquisition or a project to be funded
by the History Buffs.
Why join?
- Your involvement demonstrates support for the Heritage Center:
to the University, and to the Alumni Association.
- Being a History Buff gives you the opportunity to take part
in the selection of an annual acquisition or project for the Heritage
Center. History Buffs are also invited to become actively involved
in Heritage Center projects and activities through a variety of
volunteer opportunities.
- You will receive invitations to special events, for example:
a lecture, reception and book signing by local historian Silvia
Pettem; Campus Tree Walk and reception; a Swing Brunch celebrating
the arrival of the new jukebox; a reception honoring CU's astronauts.
