Great Issues Class: The Politics of Health Care Reform

Hank BrownThis spring semester a unique opportunity has become available for CU-Boulder alumni. You are invited to participate in an undergraduate course called The Politics of Health Care Reform. Hosted by former CU-Boulder President Hank Brown (Acct’61,Law’69), the course will focus on current health care challenges facing providers, citizens, policy makers and politicians. Alumni and friends who register online may attend for $15 for the entire semester. Space is limited so act quickly! Read more.

 


Professors of Distinction to speak

Old Main - CU-Boulder’s first buildingThe four 2008 Professors of Distinction of the College of Arts and Sciences will present brief lectures on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 6-8 p.m. at the Wolf Law School. The public is invited to the talks followed by a reception to honor their accomplishments. The professors are Alison Jaggar, philosophy/women and gender studies; Douglas Seals, integrative physiology; Payson Sheets of anthropology; Michael Shull, Astrophysical and planetary sciences. CU Night at Zoolights

ZoolightsCome gather with friends, family and fellow Buffs at the Denver Zoo for some holiday fun. Zoolights (also known as Wildlights) is the largest event in Colorado. Over 35 acres of the zoo are covered with sparkling lights. Glitter trees, animated light sculptures, illuminated lions, tigers, bears and more create an exciting holiday adventure. Read more.
