We are working to make the Black Alumni Association a strong and vibrant organization with a focus on providing leadership, scholarships, mentoring and the sponsoring of various events for our alums and African American students. We hope that you will get involved and get connected with fellow alums of all ages, as well as with our students in the Black Student Alliance and those in other student of color organizations in the schools and colleges. You know firsthand how difficult the struggle can be to survive on a predominantly white campus, and our students need all the help that we can give them.
As alumni, we can also be beneficial to each other in many ways. We can serve as a means to reunite with one another and to network and exchange ideas. In addition, your membership in the CU-Boulder Alumni Association gives you discounted access to services and goods around the world. Membership is open to anyone, not just CU alums. A portion of your membership fee goes to the Black Alumni Association when you specify that you are an affiliate of our organization, and that helps us to support our alumni and student activities.
Thank you for visiting the web site and we hope that you stay in touch. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Milton Branch (Psych’66) Program Director (303) 492-8484 miltbranch@coloradoalum.org Welcome to the Black Alumni Association Page!
