Guest Speaker: Hillary Fritz (Engl’78), former VP of Calvin Klein and NineWest shares her experience and advice for anyone interested in a career in fashion

Hillary Fritz (Engl’78) will share advice and tips about how to get your foot in the door, how to make contacts in the industry and how to find internships and a job. She’ll also talk about the various jobs attainable in fashion: design, merchandising, buying, branding, sales, marketing, account management and so on.
Fritz started her career as a buyer at Lord & Taylor, and then moved to San Francisco to work as a Director for Espirit. Her next move was back to NYC to serve as Vice President of Calvin Klein. She also consults for the Jessica Simpson Brand, Sanctuary Clothing, and development.
Fritz serves on the CU-Boulder Alumni Association Board of Directors.
