Dear Alum,

This beautiful bossoming tree is in the Mary Rippon (Shakespeare) theater. Photo by Casey A. Cass. What do you remember about your commencement? Sunny and 75 degrees? Or a foot of snow? Last Friday at the CU-Boulder graduation the weather was sunny with a temperature of just 37. A total of 5,825 degrees were conferred: 4,530 bachelor’s, 850 master’s, 175 law and 270 doctoral.

John Wood (Fin’86), founder of the international nonprofit organization Room to Read, gave a moving commencement address. Tell us about your graduation memory by going to our CU Memories commencement web page. If you have a photo, please e-mail it to Marc Killinger, editor and I’ll add it to your memory.

If you’ve moved or changed e-mail addresses, let us know.

And don’t forget, you can always find the latest alumni happenings at cualum.org. Connect with other alums and access our Ask a Buff service at the online Forever Buffs Network.
