Student leaders at CU have launched a campaign to support the relief efforts in Haiti, and your help is needed. Through their “CU Stands With Haiti” campaign the entire CU community is being mobilized to generate at least $100,000 for relief efforts as part of a national competition between universities, the Haiti Earthquake Fundraising Challenge. One hundred percent of your tax-deductible donations given at this site will go directly to work on the ground in Haiti through Partners in Health, a respected and efficient organization that has been working in Haiti for more than 20 years.

Mission of CU Stands With Haiti
Unify the University of Colorado community in order to coordinate, consolidate, measure, and publicize all past and ongoing relief efforts in addition to leveraging new large-scale commitments in order to fulfill CU’s full potential to respond to the Haiti crisis.
Campaign Background
CUSWH is a student-driven initiative created in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake, and is the official student-led Haiti response campaign of the University of Colorado at Boulder. This campaign, modeled after a successful student campaign at Dartmouth University, was formed by student leaders at the University of Colorado. We recognize the need to unify the CU community in order to maximize our ability to respond as a collective movement.
Primary Goals
- Generate at least $100,000 worth of support from the CU community.
- Bring other Big 12 schools into a supportive competition by raising at least $25,000 of the $100,000 target for Partners in Health as part of a nationwide university challenge hosted on this site
- Coordinate, consolidate, measure, and publicize relief efforts and educational activities on the Boulder campus.
- Bridge relief efforts between the business and the university communities.
