A program made up of doctoral students and professors that has been active for about 30 years in the Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy has been awarded $2 million by NASA. The funds will go toward the launch of four payloads on sounding rockets from the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico to study X-ray emissions from the edges of the solar system and beyond.
