Join the Kansas City alumni chapter as they cheer on CU men’s and women’s basketball teams in the Big XII tournament at the Sprint Arena in Kansas City, Mo. The Kansas City alumni chapter will be gathering at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, at the Brew and BBQ Fan Fest. If the CU teams continue to win and advance through the tournament, Buffs fans will continue to meet at this same location.
The Brew & BBQ Fan Fest will be held in a huge, weather-proof tent at Barney Allis Plaza (12th and Wyandotte) adjacent to the Municipal Auditorium and just a few blocks from Sprint Arena. Just look for the black and gold tables at the CU section of the tent.
The big white, weatherproof Fan Fest tent will offer a number of food items including great Kansas City Golden Ox Bar-B-Q, plus beverages of all types, and will have big screen TVs to watch all the action at both the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments; and fun including musical entertainment, a mechanical bull, a shoot-out contest and the opportunity to be with other tournament goers and friends and to visit with sports stars and sports media representatives.
