Forever Buff Jerry McMorris – Oct 9, 1940 – May 8, 2012

McMorris, an original Rockies owner and a man who will be forever remembered as the savior of Major League Baseball in Colorado, died Tuesday morning. He was 71.

Have CU in your blood?

As part of the Forever Buffs initiative, the CU-Boulder Alumni Association started a new tradition by providing “legacy cords” to graduating students whose family members are CU alums. The black and gold cords are worn with the student’s graduation gown to recognize his or her tie to a CU legacy family.

Dr. William M. King retires
